My First Youtube video is out! Week Update #4

What's been up?

Last week I was prepping towards creating my first video and posting it on Youtube. It felt so weird talking in front of a camera, but it's out! it's not the best video but the goal is to improve on sharing my story and journey building TurboNav

📺 Check it out

What did I struggle with?

last week wasn't the most productive on top of never creating a video before and trying to figure how to edit, I also had macOS Monterey issues after upgrading. which took about a day of work. Not really happy with the results but what can you do! moral of the story, don't upgrade to the latest version just yet!

What went well?

well, my goal of posting my first Youtube video is out! so that I think is an accomplishment.

I started development of the /focus command which will help users get into deep work by decluttering their workspace. I'm making good progress and should have it all in action in my next video

What I plan to do this week:

  • continue development of the /focus command
  • work on freemium features copy URL and markdown URL via commands and keyboard shortcuts
  • work on the next video where I'll share my challenge as an indie hacker to earn $x,xxx amount. it'll be a low and hopefully attainable goal, I'm not reaching for the stars here, just trying to set myself a realistic goal and working hard to obtain it. All part of the journey of figuring things out as an indie hacker

Have a great week! ✌️
