Daily journal of a non tech founder trying to understand tech better

I've set two goals on learning tech

  1. To gain more understanding of our product's tech stack, architecture and code base
  2. Pick up on Javascript to be able to develop MVP for any new side projects by Dec 2020

Here's our present stack

Frontend : React Native, Redux Saga
Backend: ES6 Javascript, Node.js, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB and other core AWS services

Present team
A junior developer and an intern

What did I go through in the last couple of days

  1. Basics of javascript - This 1 hr course https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6NZfCO5SIk

  2. Difference between REST API and GraphQL - We wanted to implement real time feed

  3. Basics of AWS Lambda, API Gateway

Today's tech goal

  1. Finish 1 more hour on javascript with freecodecamp- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PkZNo7MFNFg&t=398s
  2. Understand more on Dynamodb

I'll try to post here daily, you can also get them inbox directly by subscribing to
