From idea to MVP (in production) in 90 minutes, flat. 🚀🤠

Hey all!

I've had an idea in mind for a while and decided to implement it this Saturday. It's a problem I face in my startup, and I wanted to resolve it. There is a paid alternative already in the market but I feel the price tag is too high. I figured I'd see what I could build within 90 minutes.

Decided to film my screen whilst developing it, so I have a 1:16 long video that you can skim or watch fully (I have chapters set so it's easy to skim)

Things I do in the video:

  • Explaining the idea (2 minutes)
  • Basic functionality with Zapier (enough for my use, could have stopped here) (15 minutes)
  • Buy Domain (1 minutes)
  • Make bilingual website + deploy to production (needed "sales" site for other customers) (Hugo + Netlify) (30 minutes)
  • Make logo + favicon (Figma) (10 minutes)
  • Write website copy in English/Portuguese (15 minutes + more thinking in my head during some breaks)

Here is the youtube URL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NU4F3ZzuNU

If you have any questions, feel free to ask! :)

Here it is, btw: https://www.api-apply.com/ (you can see MANY things still to be done, just don't dig too deep and it looks better 😂).

Have another idea in the pipeline, and will passively sell this one in the meantime.
