Tips, hacks and techniques for a productive 2022

Productivity is a bitch.

Here are all the resources that have helped me tame her (or at least try to):

  1. The beginner...

So this video from app sumo is a surprisingly good resource that covers all the basics:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rxLiHWxqW4Q

So you've just realised you've been wasting a lot of time and want to get productive this instant. If so, start with this one.

If you only wanna do as much to tame the guilt, you can stop here. If not, you go an extra step.

  1. Get productivity tools and learn a few techniques...

Get one tool and go with it. (Anything but a To-Do list, they usually don't have a time tracking component with it)

So make sure that the tool has a time tracking component. It could be a deadline column or a running clock that tracks your time.

Here is a product I built based on my experiences and experiments:

(It's launching tomorrow the 10th, any support is appreciated).

  1. For the insane...

Okay, so I DO NOT recommend these if you're a beginner. If you start here, you're 99.99% guaranteed to not follow through on any of these.

So quit reading this and go try the one from video 1. Seriously, get lost.

Okay, so for all the crazies that want more out of your (already super optimized) day, here we go.

Dopamine Detox:

Again dopamine detox for a prolonged period is a bit extreme, but it works. I've tried it. Try it for one week. You'll feel like you'll have too much time on your hands (I definitely did).

The Huberman way:

I'll admit I'm yet to watch this one. But Huberman is so good I can recommend any of his videos any day.

So yeah, get outta here and go do something with your life.
