Hey Everyone,
My startup is called Junkr and it is for on-demand junk removal. Dealing with junk and doing dump-runs is a major pain. I was shocked by the price of junk-removal so I built this app. Junkr is for people who want to get rid of junk cheap, fast and easy. It's also for guys (or gals) with trucks who want to make a few extra bucks picking up junk. I've launched in a single market and got a little traction but have a long way to go.
Let me know what you think. Do you think this is a real problem? Do you think this is a good peer to peer solution? What sucks? What's awesome!? Don't hold back. Appreciate the feedback and any questions or ideas.

Hey Mike! Cool concept here.
I can see the flexible pricing becoming a bit of an issue. No one wants to pay for things and no one wants to get underpaid either. Is there some way to moderate payment amounts to ensure that it’s as fair as possible?
Maybe add an interactive feedback tool to your website to get in-depth suggestions from people who use the app already. You can try that for free with getchipbot.com.
As someone who uses other delivery-type apps quite often, I’m really interested in Junkr.
Thanks Lyric!
I created the set your own price model because I saw junk value as subjective to the Lister. Like one person may pay $50 to get rid of an old couch while someone else might only pay $20 to get it removed. I also noticed a range of what Drivers would accept for a pickup price. It’s more of a marketplace model this way and Drivers can pick the jobs they want and skip the others that aren’t worth their time. If a job is too low, the Lister is prompted to keep increasing their price until someone snaps it up.
I’m not set on the flexible pricing model but still trying to make it work for now. There might be a better way!
I’ll check out getchipbot.com too. It looks pretty cool!
Thanks, Mike
Ah, gotcha — thanks for clarifying that! It makes a lot of sense. Also, I’m glad to hear that you’ll try ChipBot out. Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. Good luck! :)

Good call! Thank you,
Hey man, first of all, congrats about the project. Turning it in something real and showing it to the word is an important step.
IMO this is a real problem. I remember of the time I had to throw away the stinky couch my cat pissed on. Later I discovered that the city hall offered a free service for that.
I never spent money to solve this but I see potential. One concern for me is where Junkr is going to leave my junk. How do I know that they are not going to throw it in someone else’s property?
Good luck with the project!
Thanks Rafa,
Really appreciate the feedback. “Where the junk goes” is one of the biggest questions and mysteries I’ve wrestled with building Junkr. The first iteration just asks that the Drivers ethically and responsibly deal with it and basically “don’t be a criminal and illegally dump it somewhere”. The drivers have to enter their vehicle info and license plate number into their profile. All pickups are described and verified with pictures of the junk loaded in the drivers truck before payment processes. My hopes is that this will create enough of an accountability layer that the drivers stay honest. So far so good with no reports back of illegal activity. I’ve followed up with drivers to see what they do and most go to dump, some recycle some items, and then some even take junk home to clean it up/fix it and then resell on fb marketplace. It’s cool to see the user behaviour play out in different ways. I’m definitely going to continue watching this potential issue of “where the junk goes”. Thanks for checking it out and shoot me any other ideas, questions or feedback. Thanks!
I wish you the best ! 🚀
Love the landing page man - great work
Thanks Alex! Appreciate it.
