400 Subscribers! 🔥

Two weeks ago I've launched a new startup and announced it here on IndieHackers: https://www.indiehackers.com/post/launched-a-new-saas-startup-0-mrr-4aa2f7849e

Just like any cool bootstrapped startup, we started with zero sign ups and built our way up there.

Today, I am happy to report that we've subscribed 400+ users and the goal of 1,000 sign ups is closer than ever.

The initial lever of growths is our existing pool of freelance translators who we invited to try out the product. It may speed up their workflow and allow them to make more money for the end clients. However, it is a small subset of users that this service is designed for. We are actively seeking other levers of growth such as Search Engine Marketing, Paid Ads and even Youtube where we announced our service in a casual manner: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEu9ZAiouEE

Any suggestions? Anyone wants to join the remote team?

I love how you first reached out to the existing pool of freelancers you have! Those will be your initial strongest users for sure. I also checked out your other product, ConveyThis too. I'm a growth marketer and I think you're in a strong position for your new product to piggyback off of your original one, ConveyThis. Lets connect so I could drum up some suggestions for you.

Hi Romeo. Thanks for the contribution!
Yeah, we are piggibacking on our own products as it helps to create a stronger momentum overall. Lots of code is being reused and speed-to-market is much shorter than starting from scratch.

What other suggestions do you have? Let's hear something interesting.

Yeah that's way better than reinventing the wheel for sure. I need more clarity on your audience to brainstorm better, so I'll reach out to you via your attached twitter handle, Alex.
P.S. I rarely ever use Twitter and mostly do LinkedIn instead, so that explains my inactivity on there haha.
**Edit: Your messaging function on Twitter is switched off. Prefer for me to email you?

This is awesome! Congrats to you! We're happy to see it can happen. We just launched our own newsletter (https://deepdive.cool) the other week and looooove seeing people be successful in the space as well.

was trying to not be too gratuitous lol. But totally meant what I said. It's kinda amazing how many newsletters there are and that they all can be built to scale up. It's encouraging :)
