Just saw an interesting webinar from Blake Hutchison, Flippa, about the future of online business. A takeaway, that you shouldn´t miss, are the ten most searched keywords on Flippa (2020):

  6. Fitness

  10. Health

The greater the demand for your niche, the better the chances for a profitable exit.

    Thanks for sharing this. A client of mine, who is building a wellness app, is looking for ways to help jumpstart the content on their platform. I'm wondering, now, if buying a blog from Flippa (specific to their niche) could be the way to go.

      Hey Kurt, thank you for your comment! There are two interesting routes for your friend. Route A) He buys a ready blog with content (i.e. on Flippa). Route B) He buys an aged domain that fits his niche, sets up a blog, and adds the content. The advantage of an aged domain is, that the content will rank faster.

        I just took a look at the aged domains for sale on Flippa. Some of those prices blew my mind! $2 million for "product.com", haha.

        I actually found a "22 yr old" domain name for sale there that kinda fits my niche (machine learning models). What would be the due diligence needed for me to validate that content ranking could be higher with this domain (versus a new domain name that I purchased last Fall)? I'm new to SEO.
