Explaining BitClout's Decentralized Nature

What separates BitClout from other social media platforms is its decentralized nature, but how decentralized is BitClout really?

BitClout's blockchain was planned to run on multiple nodes, but it is currently running on a single node. Nonetheless, the platform has already hit 140,000 users despite the very few blocks powering it.

Moreover, many VCs are backing BitClout and promoting its mining structure, which is one of the main reasons why the platform is where it is now.

It's very difficult to have something decentralized without a robust mining structure, and this is where investors play a major role.

Don't forget to check my Bitclout profile linked in the comments.
