Selling your boutique-ness?

I was watching this great talk on youtube by Jason Cohen ( @asmartbear ) Designing the Ideal Bootstrapped Business , and he talks about charging more because your company is boutique.

I rather like this idea, but I find myself having a hard time writing good copy to describe my company in a way that shows "I'm just one person having a go of it".

Are there good examples of indie hackers doing this in the world? What are your experiences doing this?

Maybe not quite “boutique”, but my main hustle (not side hustle!) is a photobook design /production business. https://cahootsphotos.com.au

My market is very niche - primarily older demographic in the local area.
I have inserted myself into the Why section of the website, and some testimonials mention me by name. It all goes a little way to give that “exclusive” feel. Maybe write about your motivation for starting your business, and what knowledge/expertise you personally can provide your customers.

    Hope it helps.
