Three case studies on making money from open source software

This is a talk I gave at my local Linux users group. It covers three case studies I found here on Indie Hackers about people making money from open source software. I talk about the stories of @zenorocha, @nemiah, and @calebporzio. Enjoy!

Great talk, you get the part about me quite right. The world was in another place in 2007 and I got a lot of organic search traffic back then. I think I actually was one of the first to create a web-based invoicing application. Many years I ranked first for "Rechnungsprogramm kostenlos" which translates as "Free invoicing application". The world has changed though and I don't do SEO anymore. Too many big players with a lot of money out there.

Let me know, if you want to talk more 😊
