If you're interested in being successful online, you'll want to use the best web framework. I'm looking for the best designers, developers, marketers, entrepreneurs, indie hackers to help me make the Web OS. This is web9000.
tl;dr Follow me here on indiehackers.com.
What frameworks do the best web apps use? They made stackshare.io in order to track what each company's web app was built with. The site isn't always perfectly accurate or complete, but sometimes sheds light into how something was made.
What's the best tech stack and web framework? It's basically an impossible question. There's very little chance you pick the best tools, and you'll often spend a lot of time stressing over these decisions. Sometimes there's a clear winner, sometimes not.
Software design and development is hard. You rarely get it right on the first try. Bugs can be hard to find and fix. You get distracted with problems you never thought would waste days, weeks, months of time. You feel me?
Pretty much all [technology, software, products] suffer in one way or another. How do we make them better? Well, we need to use them, study them, inspect, dissect, and brainstorm, "how could this be better?" Then we need the infrastructure (Web OS) in order to publish plugins to make it better.
Imagine a UI design tool like Figma, only 10x better. I use Figma every day, I know how to do this, trust me. This is the Web OS.
I just discovered softr.io. This is a huge step in the right direction, but not much different than many WordPress plugins.
Imagine the entire software ecosystem: design, development, marketing, analytics, licensing, etc. GitHub, npm, AWS, etc. We will rebuild all of these features and functions on one robust web stack, and make it easy for people to build amazing web apps. We'll make the best web apps on earth, and beat all the other startups simultaneously. And we'll build a software ecosystem, so everyone can build on top of each others software (creating plugins), to make the best software possible, and to get rich while doing it.
All of these software systems must be created using the same underlying framework, in order to facilitate seamless integration. Ask me to explain this if it doesn't make sense.
If we rebuild the entire system on the same web tech stack, then we can basically integrate every application in existence, effortlessly. Basically, you have one app that helps you navigate everything you do on your computer, phone, etc. And you can customize the whole thing, because you build it from scratch, from simple modules. This is the Web OS.
Imagine npm and GitHub only 10x better, where we can more easily share code, find better packages, worry less about security, license our packages to each other, and get rich. Btw, the same marketplace should power code assets and other assets like themes, templates, photos, videos, etc. This is the Web OS.
Software we can make better: Figma, Notion, WordPress, Wikipedia, Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, Blender, Unity, Unreal, Windows, Android, all of it...
We can make all of these better by creating a software eco system that evolves 10x faster than the current one. We need more incentive ($$$) to produce useful features (code, templates, data schemes, plugins, themes, images, video, games). Open source software suffers from funding. We can fix this, trust me.
This is a webolution. Open source should have won a long time ago. We just need to get the money flowing. Yet, if you look at all the garbage on Android (Google Play app store). It's because of the quick money potential, and so it breeds many shitty apps, games, etc. So how do you monetize open source in order to create the best software in the world? This is actually quite tricky, but the answer is the Web OS.
If anyone wants to co-found a gaming company with me, I'm extremely interested and confident in this opportunity. I would start with a simple 2D mobile game, and learn how to market and monetize it.
I play Albion Online (possibly the best full loot, pvp, zvz, mmorpg in the world).
I've gotten tired of MOBAs, love the potential with VR (the ways in which you can interact in VR are much different than buttons or mouse movements,
Any other gamers reading this? I believe we can make some sick games built with the Web OS. three.js? WebGL? WASM? You feel me? Check out PlayCanvas, it's basically a web based IDE for making web games. The Web OS will need an IDE. But it needs to be a modular experience, so that you can build your system.
The risk of learning something new (a code library, a new product or service, etc) is not about learning its features, but finding its flaws. When you find these flaws, sometimes they're show stoppers. Sometimes you spend weeks trying to work around these things. You feel me?

Twitter was bought by Elon Musk? Liberals lose their minds? Some of the censorship Twitter was performing was appalling.
How about Discord? Or Reddit? Check out these videos:
The Disturbing Truth about Discord
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5X6iLHzqAI
The Toxic World of Reddit
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3PUNQH4qYLA
Both these platforms suffer from the censorship problem. People do terrible things (swatting, sexual predators, etc) and these platforms face the challenge of facilitating the crime. I think the only solution to this is to have the community moderate itself, and maybe have "AI" help. But you have moderators who are... far from perfect, and some of them are terrible people.
Yet, at the end of the day, most web content is roughly the same. Whether its on Reddit, Discord, Notion, mywebsite.com, etc. The Web OS will power the social networks of the future.
Project management software is another interesting (important) software category. How do you organize a team to do something complex? Notion, Zoom, email? Let's figure this one out. I want 1 tool. But it has to be the best. And there's only one way to do that: realize that the best software is different for each person. The Web OS is the only way to do this.
I want to be able to log in to my workspace, explain my software need to my team, and have the best software people in the world design and develop my app in real time so that I can use it moments later. I know this is possible. Trust me. Software design and development times 9000.
You need to be able to customize the entire software design and development experience. Build your own image editor, website builder, game development setup, etc. If there's something that could be changed, it needs to be changeable. This is the Web OS. We're just gonna do what everyone else is doing, only better.
I'm too high to proofread this :D LET'S GOOOOOOOO
I'm going to win, despite my faults, failures, struggle, suffering. If you're still reading, give this post an upvote.

I need some smart people to get this thing going. We can fix the internet and make amazing companies. Like literally thousands of them. Look at all the successful startups. We can beat them, if we have a better web framework. Trust me.
If you could show your support: give this post an upvote, give me a follow!
Also, I lived streamed posting this article, very disappointing, but you can watch it here:

In case you missed it:
#1. I will win software and the internet like Elon Musk won cars and space.
Also, comically, I posted something very similar on this website on May 13, 2018, coming up on 6 years ago. https://www.indiehackers.com/forum/best-javascript-stack-for-a-realtime-community-platform-7bd6308454
I'm losing my mind here folks...
If anyone finds this comment, it's interesting to note that I originally posted this on April 30, 2022 (about a year ago), and while it got 104 views, it only got 1 like (as of now). Am I stupid?
