.map() Javascript tutorial

Just created my second YouTube video yesterday. Carrying on my mini series on the Javascript array methods.

In this video I teach the map function in a very simplistic, easy to follow along video.

Let me know what you think in the comments and please support and give it a like and sub if you'd like to see more tips, tricks and tutorials on coding. 🔥🧙‍♂️

Also in comparison, is this one better with no background music compared to my first video about the foreach? Or what do you prefer?

Thanks a ton!

    Great job! I really like (as I said in YT comments) the tight subject focus for each video. It allows you to include useful details without going on really long.

    Re music: I happen to really like the music, but it's good to know that I like the particular music (and genre) that you used. The pace of the music actually feels like it helps me focus! But probably it would be good to drop the volume just a little bit.

    What video editing package are you using? Both videos have voiceover only in my left ear. The music played in my right ear (which could be a real problem for anyone who has any kind of auditory processing issues). If you can get it mixed in both ears and lower the music volume a teeny bit, I'd love the music. But otherwise, it's perfectly fine without the music :-)

      Thank you so much I appreciate that.

      RE voice in left ear
      I have fixed this issue at the source and will be corrected in the next video!! (Tomorrow 😀)

      RE music
      Yeah I actually think I prefer that background music also, so I'll add it in again going forward for sure. It's particularly nice when I take a pause and you can slightly hear it 😀

      RE video editing package
      I use a XLR condenser microphone to record hooked up to a 48V phantom power audio interface.

      I'm recording using OBS in full raw quality, with some audio compressor, suppression and noise gate filters aswell as a custom VST plugin to enhance voice called Voxengo.

      I would then bring my recorded file into Sony Vegas Pro to add a vocal post compressor on the audio to make it even clearer and adjust the gain to get rid of any final post clipping on the voice and render as a full quality .MP3.

      I then finally edit using Filmora where I piece together the audio and original raw recorded file and add music, the subscribe overlays and adjust any volumes when everything's together and render in full 1920x1080 at 30 FPS, however think I can get away with 20 FPS as it's just typing, but will experiment 😀

      Thank you so much. Excited to release my next one tomorrow! Had it scheduled for today but had a busy day RE work so didn't get a second 😀
