14 months of experimenting with growth on Twitter and I decided to ship my old idea

After 14 months of experimenting with growth on Twitter, I decided to implement my very old idea.

As a friend of mine joked, "hipsters are reinventing motivated traffic in 2024." Whatever — I created Upvote Club, a service that solves the main problem for aspiring Twitter users: how to gain an initial reach for their posts and grow followers as quickly as possible.

In fact, there are two ways to get Twitter followers:

  1. Posting endlessly (which becomes a full-time job—ask anyone who’s grown their profile about the time they invested at the start).
  2. Getting a lot of reactions on your posts. I decided to focus on this aspect because it seems to be the most impactful.

The main issue is that social media algorithms only show posts to a broader audience if they get engagement in the first "golden hour" and from a relevant audience. Without initial likes and comments, a post just sinks. Upvote Club automatically adds organic engagement from real users within the first hour after publication. No bots or fake accounts—only real people.

I spent several weeks talking with influencer marketing agencies, and 9 out of 10 told me that they support each post their influencers publish with likes, comments, and reposts within the first hour. They go all-in on the post as an agency.

I also found a tweet by Natia Kurdadze where she mentions that X blue gives a 2x boost to posts on an account, while likes give a 30x boost, comments give a 50x boost, reposts a 20x boost, and visual content a 2x boost. This is spot on—until you hit your first thousand followers, engagement is as vital as oxygen. Every like on your post is worth its weight in gold.

So, I launched Upvote Club to help everyone get Twitter followers:

  1. Register and add your Twitter account (no passwords required).
  2. Create a task for what you need: likes, reposts, comments, followers.
  3. Real users from the community immediately start completing your tasks.
  4. In return, you help others, earning points for doing so.
  5. If you don’t want to help others, no problem—you can simply buy points and have others support you.

Key Features:

  • Quality First: Focused on moderation—only real users, no bots or AI.
  • Instant Delivery: Engagement within the "golden hour" after posting.
  • Zero Ban Risk
  • Affordable Pricing: Accessible to everyone—even $5 is enough to start growing your audience.

P.S. The main thing to know is that anyone achieving high reach usually starts with this. On WhatsApp and other platforms, there are thousands of groups where people exchange engagements to grow faster. I just decided to create a service for this, and it turned out amazing.

Bonus: There is an invite that gives you extra points after registration.

I Would be glad to hear your feedback. A promo code that gives you 30 extra points, which is worth approximately 15 followers, likes, reposts, or comments.

It sounds like you're sharing your experience after 14 months of experimenting with growth on Twitter, leading you to finally launch or ship an old idea you've had. It's great to see persistence paying off and turning an idea into reality! Could you share more about the idea or what you've learned from your journey?

Good stuff! I just signed up!

Awaiting action - but it isn't completing

I collected statistics yesterday, and the first task I completed in the system took an average of 250 hours, while the last one took an average of 20 hours. This is an issue due to a low users database. Because We just launched the project, and it’s still reaching its audience. Therefore, we should share promo codes and encourage users to invite friends.

This is an exciting initiative! 🎉 Upvote Club seems like a game-changer for anyone looking to kickstart their Twitter presence. The focus on organic engagement from real users within that crucial "golden hour" is a smart approach, especially since we all know how tough it can be to gain traction in the beginning. The idea of earning points by helping others is also a great way to build community. Looking forward to seeing how this evolves—definitely checking it out! 🚀

    You need to implement interest-based.

Suppose I provide website design and development services. Also, I create and sell premium website templates http://pentaclay.com

So It will be better for me to engage with similar posts or people that are interested to take web design services.

Nice product, will love to try.

Hey everyone! I’m excited to share something I’ve been working on that could make a big difference in social media shopping. It’s called KuwarPay—a payment solution I created after experiencing the frustration of clunky checkouts and abandoned carts.
With KuwarPay, shopping from your favorite social media platforms is super easy! Just click the link in a post, checkout securely, and pay through PhonePe. Plus, you get exclusive discounts along the way!
I’d love to hear what you all think! What features would make your social media shopping experience unforgettable? What are some of the challenges you face when trying to buy online? Your feedback means the world to me and will help shape KuwarPay into something truly special. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts!" This version aims to create a friendly tone and connect with readers personally. Feel free to tweak it further if needed!

I checked the available tasks and people are only interested in gaining new followers. Am I missing sth?

    1. 1

Followers are the most valuable. But the service can also be used to promote posts. You can create task to receive likes, reposts, comments, and later we'll add saves as well. Many people, after creating their first task, start creating tasks specifically for reposts and likes.

Right now, followers are the highest because my main CTA encourages getting followers.

Currently, the system has the following distribution:
      – Repost: 6.67%
      – Follow: 77.78% (because main CTA)

This is such an interesting idea! Twitter's algorithm can be so frustrating, and getting that initial boost is key to standing out. I really appreciate that the service focuses on real engagement, which makes all the difference compared to automated solutions. Excited to see how this evolves!

    1. 1

The issue with automated solutions is that they don’t deliver genuine results. From the start, we've already had cases where people initially had a reach of only 20 on their posts, but after receiving engagement from our platform, their reach grew to thousands.

X/Twitter might flag our account as suspicious if we started engaging in too many random tweets.

I expected this, so I have a plan to add interest-based segmentation in the future. This will helps connect same audience with each-others musicians engage with other musicians, indie hackers to connect with fellow indie hackers, and so on.

  10. 1

The best thing it is real users, not bots . Great product

    1. 1

My top priority is audience quality, so i focused on audience moderation and verification. In the future, i also plan to add segmentation by interests, allowing musicians to follow and like musicians, indie hackers to connect with indie hackers, and so on.
