Should you be a Contractor or Employee?

As a programmer is it better to be a contractor or an employee? This one minute video goes over the three issues which make it so you should be on salary instead of a contractor. It also discusses some of the benefits of being a contractor.

Tech Marketing note

I am experimenting with creating #shorts as a way to advertise longer videos on my YouTube channel since #shorts are publicized on YouTube using different rules and algorithms.

It's a nice 58-second video but really it is an experiment to see if it generates more views of my other videos. Has anyone else tried this technique? If so, how did it work for you?
