Ex-Google "TechLead" (Day 199)

First watched the "TechLead" guy for his my wife left me. ("How success destroyed us") video. Some heartfelt messages there, but unapologetic.

If you watch his videos for the first time, you may find him a bit arrogant and mean, but his straight-forwardness and sharp words might be the reason he gets attention! There are truths and insights in his content, and I like his straight-up talks.

He echoes some of my personal beliefs, too. In this video, he mentions that how important it is to safeguard your time--what Stoics frequently warn us, and the difference between "motion and action"--you may feel you are learning or working on something by reading some articles (motion), but it's different from actually implementing or making real progress (action)--while doing research is important, producing result is what matters.

He also mentions that many entrepreneurs value their ideas, but credit his (financial) success to being good at executing ideas.

It's rare that I can be entertained and learn something at the same time. 😬
Here's a more generic "self-help" video: https://youtu.be/JdOCDObUWXQ that the "TechLead" made it fun to watch.

I find TechLead entertaining to watch and there's some nuggets of truth hidden between the lines of what he says but ultimately I only watch him for the laughs these days.

In my experience discovering good content for entrepreneurs on YouTube has been difficult, but I do recommend watching the MicroConf talks.

I watched him too and got some fun out of it. But he got into an ethics controversy, search "coffeezilla techlead" on YouTube.
