Seeking Tech Partner to build a Cofounder Platform

Hi there,

I’m working on an idea for a cofounder matchmaking platform, inspired by my own experience.

When I was looking for a cofounder for a previous project, I realized how challenging it is to find the right partner if they’re not already in your network. I tried several platforms, but they lacked features to help you connect with matching candidates.

This gave me the idea to create a better, more engaging platform to help entrepreneurs find their ideal cofounder. My vision includes features like a matching algorithm, interactive tools, and events to make the process more effective and enjoyable. Over time, I plan to evolve the platform into a full ecosystem to help launch and grow startups.

I’m looking for a technical partner who’s interested in building this project with me. I’d also be happy to collaborate with a UX/UI designer.

⚠️ Just to clarify, I’m not looking for freelancers—I’m looking for someone who shares the vision and wants to partner up.!

🙋‍♂️A bit about me: I have a background in business and marketing, with 10 years of experience in digital marketing across various agencies. I’ve also invested in a few startups. If you’d like to learn more, feel free to check out my LinkedIn profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/meriaux.

If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, please reach out to m

Cheers,

    Hey Guillaume Mériaux,

I had a somewhat similar experience and vision. Maybe we can talk on LinkedIn (jub0t).

Based on my experience, popular co-founder matching platforms lack a proper process. Beyond matching people based on broad categories and offering a messaging system, they fail to address the important questions or guide users toward finding the right match. Instead, it often feels like sifting through dozens of spam messages, only to discover that the idea is just an elevator pitch, hasn’t been validated, and—10 times out of 10—the other person doesn’t even know what product validation is.

    Hey Guillaume Meriaux,

There is a platform similar to your idea called "CoffeeSpace." Check it out; it might be helpful to you.
