Marketing on YT: 100 views in less than 2 hours!

We have been using YT for sharing 'how to' videos related to the product. Today, I published a video with useful funda for students, who are part of our target audience along with teachers. The video is receiving a good response and crossed 100 views in 2 hours.
Here is what I did.

  • Recorded the video at home
  • Hired an editor from freelancer
  • Posted on YouTube
  • After posting the video, I also shared on Reddit and Facebook. (No paid ads run)

I also added the video to the product website,
http://help.edfone.com/en/articles/1807317-3-useful-learning-techniques

On first impression on the response to video is pretty good. It is ~10X the response I have received in the recent past for Medium and Linkedin articles. Would like to hear from Indiehackers who have successfully used video marketing on their experience.

Here is the video I was talking about, 3 Useful Learning Techniques: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzWjSAA8Wak
