I have been doing some research recently for the Spark micro-incubation programme I run at ucreate, and couldn't find a single source online that curated all the different 'smoke test' techniques. So I ended up creating one myself.

It would be good to include some positive and negative case studies wrt to the various pointers because there are likely thousands of ways to do the same thing. It may offer more tangible techniques or tactics to apply.
