Hey guys, I'll keep my idea validation brief.
I'm working on an online whiteboard called Ryeboard that stores content like Google Drive or Dropbox would. The idea is to provide the flexibility of a whiteboard and the ease of access of cloud storage.
Anyways, I came across an IH post yesterday about Airtable's Marketplace and got an idea.
Why not provide Ryeboard as a Airtable App / Integration? Anytime you change anything on the whiteboard, the data will automatically change in Airtable's sheets and vice-versa. The benefit would be enabling users to programmatically manipulate their boards or organize their boards quickly with a spreadsheet interface (and vice-versa).
Sorta like this but it would be automatic and could be much more flexible.
Thoughts?

I think it might be a good idea + the Airtable marketplace could be a free & viable source of user acquisition. From reading interviews on IndieHackers, every 5th interview mentioned a particular app marketplace (Chrome WebStore, Shopify AppStore, etc.) as an organic way they're constantly getting new users. I don't see why Airtable wouldn't be the exception (my guess is as they grow, Airtable is actively going to promote the marketplace across their users).
Great thoughts. Checked out Zero to Users btw and looks interesting! Followed :)
