Hello Indiehackers!
As a first time maker and new in tech I was just wondering what do you think about the growth of colorsandfonts.com
Is a curated library of colors and fonts for digital designers and web developers where you can copy-paste the code in one click.
So I have been posting the palettes and gradients on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Dribbble before launching and submitting the site on directories so I could create an audience before launching on PH.
By then ( 4 months ago ) I used to have from 20 to 50 users daily.
3 months ago I launched on PH getting to the 9th place of the day with 250 upvotes and so and +-1200 users in that day and leaving some trace of between 400 and 600 for a week then it went down pretty much until 200 days for a week more...
The same week Prototypr.io posted it on their site so it brought in also pretty much visits and still coming.
Thanks to this are been cross-posted in so many sites that I don't even know they existed...
I ended up having traffic mostly from the states followed by Japan.
Muzli Magazine by InVision gave lots of users also leaving me with 150 and 300 users daily and monthly around 5.3K
The website is listening in probably 50 directories ( not Reddit, they always delet it... )
Regarding the incomes from this site
The only income that comes in is from Adsense and is pretty low, 1 Euro daily more or less...
I have the intentions to make premium palettes and gradients and a subscription letter but the budget on my side-projects is 0.
This makes me have the repository on GitHub and hence not be able to make a login page...
So my question in all of this is.
Is this growing fine?
Do you see the future for this?
My goal is to be able to remove the Ads and make at least a living income of it of 2000β¬ without a budget for marketing.
Any recommendations?
thank you very much and have a great day!
