Check it out here 👉 https://www.blocs.me/
Hey ya'll 👋
I present to you 'blocs', a collection of notion widgets for habit building.
At the moment I'm still testing things out but wanted to create a landing page for validation.
Looking for help with the following :
• is the sign up process smooth ?
• is the copy writing okay ? (no grammatical errors, typos, better wording etc)
• are you able to understand what the product does easily ? 🤔
Thanks in advance for taking the time, appreciate it 😊🖖
Hi Moniet, thanks for sharing your work with us!
First of all, super interesting approach, you've added social proof about who you are directly in your hero section (or above the fold) that's super indiehacker and I love it
I like the sign-up with notion button, it shows that you're catering towards a super defined audience, notion users and the fact that you say it's free helps!
Meanwhile on the right side you have a "carousel" of what your tool looks like, and showing as we know is super effective!
One improvement for your carousel would be that if I interact with it, pause the horizontal scrolling please!
Then you're hinting us that there's more and you say to scroll down to read more so I scroll down and I click on the check it out link, which takes me to a notion page - here when I try to interact with the widget's settings I can't really see what the settings are it looks like its broken ?
As I scroll your page I see more widgets...
I think what you're missing is an explanation of how you build your widget, what data does it ingest and how can you quickly build yours.
Also some use-cases of how some people use it professionally?
And maybe some testimonials, there are tons of Notion power-users, I use Notion myself every day and sometimes I wish they had visualization tools that worked better!
I think your idea is very good, embedding widgets that use data from Notion or from an external DB is great when you can render it the way you did. However personally, I don't think the power of what you built is in using small widgets to track water intake, but instead I could see super useful if you could create live-graphs for example... but that's again just my personal opinion.
That's some good advice. Definitely have been asked on reddit about what data it uses "external or notion ?". Could for sure be more descriptive about it, good catch.
Really my idea for this was to get validation (the whole buffer thing) before jumping into the idea. But I definitely agree that a visualizer for notion data would be a hit, and have been working on it !
Hope to have it soon, will definitely reach out to you for a testimonial.
Thanks for the excellent feedback !
I made a video of it by the way: https://youtu.be/Nw_RXMM_guU
Oh man ! So flattered.
Have no words. Thank you so much 🙌
This design is really looks so cool. I want to try the same design for my project of Watch movies free that hosted on WordPress.
