Building Hirable - An all-in-one career growth platform

Hi everyone, first post here on IH. Sharing my personal project in hopes for feedback/perspective and support, or straight-up criticism if you disagree :)

My name is Oat, and I am a software (Frontend) engineer in Canada.

I have been solo-building Hirable (https://hirable.fyi) for the past 4 weeks. Created initially as an AI-assistant (oh no not again) resume writing tool, inspired by helping my friends rewrite resumes based on specific job applications.

Fast forward to today, it is a job tracker/resume-writer/interview-prepper. I have:

• 100+ sign ups
• 2 LinkedIn launches
• 10 medium posts at the start to share my journey (https://medium.com/@oat-on-a-boat)
• moved to Twitter (https://twitter.com/oat_on_a_boat) to #buildinpublic instead
• Talked to 10 new grads and job seekers
• Did competitive analysis on 5+ competitors
• Today - launched on IH https://www.indiehackers.com/product/hirable-fyi

React, Next.js, Vercel, Mongo

Still very new to IH but I will hopefully use this as the community to share updates/long-form thoughts and learn from other founders. For instance, I am focusing on growth this week and trying to get in touch with target users (job seekers) instead of the general public/curious lurkers.
