Hey!
I’m Franco Gobbo, and with some machine learning friends, we wanted to hop on the DALL-E/Stable Diffusion trend (the AI that generates images based on your command), to see if we can make it useful for businesses.
We’ve been working on https://www.pictorial.ai, which is an AI that is able to understand the content of any website and create images based on it.
It might be a handy tool if you are struggling to imagine/design the visuals you want for your site or blog posts.
We’ve tested it with sites like Slack, Spotify, LinkedIn and Facebook, and the results are quite good!
Now we want to experiment with the community to see how it behaves with all the crazy businesses you guys have, and test if it can visually represent your ideas.

Very generic computer images. The text doesn't make sense. Nothing here that I'd want to use on the site unfortunately. Graphics for pricing is hard though :)

thank you @franco_g some of the illustrations are good, but others are irrelevant! you should probably make an integration with canva so that we can customize the design ;) lovely product and I wish you all the best guys!
Thanks! Yeah, the AI needs data and time to learn and improve results. The integration idea is interesting! For sure that we want to evolve with the results and features, and even offer the designs as vectorial further down the line!

Our app is a social media for nomads and travellers and the images were related to idea generation and laptops...

thanks @franco_g - I think my gut reaction is that it's not quite there yet. I mean it's picked up the general 'Corporate Memphis' vibe that we (unfortunately) have used on a few pages, but at the same time it's a world away from them in terms of overall style e.g. colour palette for 99% of these couldn't work on our site, most have very busy backgrounds, none are using the same heavily distorted proportions for limbs, heads etc.
Maybe you could add adjustable parameters or something like some of the text-to-image libraries do now - just quite specific to the 'website imagery' niche?
Don't get me wrong, it's still impressive 😊 - the holy grail will be when it can spit out vector graphs on the tail-end rather than bitmaps 👀

We are aware of many of its flaws. It is a V1, and still has a loooooooong way to go. Vector Graphs are clearly one of the main objectives, so we are thrilled to hear you say that!

We are working towards that! Right now we make the AI figure out the color palette based on the site, but sometimes it gets messy haha

We have created a tool that does the process automatically, but reviews the prompts manually once generated.

I think it's interesting. I definitely see the potential of having a tool like this. I think for our Indie Hacking community there is less variance than you'd expect because, when you dig down we pretty much all sell stuff that is "use your computer to do X".
But I could see that the activity (on the computer screens) and the styles are different ; e.g. mine seem to have focused on the "one click" promise I make (many of the characters are holding a mouse or clicking) whereas another poster has a design website and the resulting images all have a very "high end designer magazine" feel.
I think this is promising. If you were to niche down for just IH/SaaS world then you might need to remove the "computer stuff" from (some of) the prompts so that it generates more variance (eg, in my case not showing someone at a desk watching a video, but showing someone shooting a video in a studio or live setting).
Thanks again and congrats for doing your demo in public like this! It's such a great way to contribute to the community and create real-world case studies at the same time.
