Jason Calacanis On Clubhouse… Trolling & Bullying Exposed

Jason Calacanis, a well-known American internet entrepreneur was not only recorded running a “report-train” on Clubhouse, getting helpless users reported & effectively suspended, but also disrespecting women on the platform. He ended up reporting & suspending users that had ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with his claims…

Take Mario Nawfal for example, (suspended thanks to Jason) a self-made millionaire who made most of his money in e-commerce through his main company Froothie, selling blenders & kitchen appliances…

“Multi-level marketing scams”???

We’ve all seen a couple of bad players sell services & over-priced coaching packages on Clubhouse that just look plain shady.
But it’s important to do your research prior to making any claim whatsoever.
Mario sells no course…No coaching… No consulting… No investment schemes…

The problem is in Clubhouse and how it promotes both transparency, authenticity, and above all, accountability.

Most rooms aren’t recorded.

Most speakers maintain a very minimal profile with just a couple of words in their bio leading to their Twitters & Instagram.

Anybody can pretend to be whoever, anybody can say whatever, with no repercussions whatsoever as most rooms are not recorded and most speakers aren’t fact-checked.

However, it seems to be only a matter of time till this issue is resolved.
Clubhouse is indeed still in Beta, and many of its usability features have yet to be made available.

There’s no doubt that they’ll soon roll features that are bound to boost both accountability & transparency across the platform.
