"Once you tell people 'I already have someone invested in us', your status changes. You've become part of that pool of founders who are 100% committed to their products — so they know you will do whatever it takes to succeed." – Julie Landeroin, Founder of Nudge
Since Nudge launched last fall, Julie's journey as a founder hasn't always been easy, but it's insightful and inspiring for all would-be founders.
I interviewed her and found out about:
And what she's learned through the accelerator program and A LOT of pitching since the launch.
Watch the interview on YouTube or listen to the Podcast
My main take-away was getting to the bottom of 'why' one chooses to be a founder. For her it's not a financial incentive, or at least this can't be the only reason. That won't stand up to the challenges most founders face in year 1!
Hope you enjoy the show and gain useful tactics for your founder journey.
PS: I hope it's ok to post here as a guy trying to support female founders. If not, feel free to remove it. Have a great week 🚀
