Find the perfect developer job - would love to get some feedback!

Tired of reading through chunks of job requirements and missing out on key points, I created a website that helps developers discover teams using a skill-fit approach. It's a work-in-progress and I'd love to get feedback!

Take a look: https://www.techseek.io/

I'm working on the algorithm to filter through the available jobs and providing a better user experience.

Would love feedback about the idea and any features that may enhance your current job-seeking process!. Thanks in advance.

    Hey. I love it.

    Next steps:

If jobs are remote give an option to filter out those that are available for me (I am from Europe and many "remote" companies only hire people from US - I want to see only the companies that will hire me).

One other option could be to add a filter on companies/job allowing relocation and visa sponsoring. I lot of folks out of the US would be interested in that (probably the same in Europe too).

        I definitely agree with that.

Hey Noufel, thank you for having a look! I've added a two new tabs - Instead of making a new row which might over-cluster the screen I added Remote (US Only) and Remote (Worldwide). Have a look! Would these be helpful to you?

Ah good point, thanks for letting me know. I will add a tab to show if companies will be non-US remote workers.

Did you reckon the tab should be on the main page or once a user selects a remote job?

To be honest at the beginning I even had trouble finding remote button, so maybe remote options should be it's own row?

        1. 1

Yeah that would be best to clear confusion, otherwise it will get too overcrowded. I'll have a look into adding a option selector for various remote types, thanks for sharing it with me!

Cool! Rendering seems a bit glitchy though when hovering over the tech options..

Also confused about what the bottom bar is supposed to do - search?

Like the idea in principle - but feel like I'd generally have better luck with LinkedIn?

Hey thewhitelynx thanks for checking out my site! Yeah, the goal was to make it easier to find jobs based on exact skills to reduce the need to endlessly scroll through job-boards to find the perfect fit.

Yep, the bottom bar is meant to be used for location.

Would it be easier to navigate If I had less skills?
