Hey IH!
Like everybody else browsing this group, I too want to find a great partner and opportunity to throw myself at. Why might you want to pair up with me you ask? And who am I looking to pair up with?
My background is software and startups. I’ve hacked together iOS, Android, and web apps for very early stage companies. I’ve also worked on more mature products that have already found their product-market fits. The two most impressive and unique qualities that I think I bring are: (a) the speed and quality at which I can put together a prototype / MVP and (b) my obsessiveness when I decide to do something (my wife would agree). Here’s me: http://robertkotcher.me/.
My goal is to create something with real value that matters to people. My interests include but aren’t limited to productivity and social software. I also have machine learning experience but would probably question the immediate use of machine learning right out of the gate, depending on the application.
You are a hacker too, but prefer getting out there with customers over writing code. I love to be involved in customer discovery, but do not yet have anything tangible to point you to that would give you the confidence that I’d be great at it. But I can tell you stories of times that I've tried.
You either have some ideas that you’ve had on the back burner or just want to meet up occasionally to talk through new ones. I have some ideas I could bring to the table, too.
I hope this is enough to get started with. Please send me an email if this has resonated with you!
Happy hacking,
Robert
Robert,

Hey, I see you've worked with professor Loh from Carnegie Melon. The algorithmic core of the platform I want to build has a lot of it's foundation from research from the Carnegie Melon Human Computer Interaction department!
You might be just the person I've been looking for. Would love to talk more as I'm also playing around with some ideas in the social space - actually already started to build one.
What does social capital mean to you during these trying times? Email me at rayofclark51 at gmail.com
