Hey Hackers!
First of all I put launched in quotes because it's not much of a product if I'm honest.
You know when you have a sudden idea and you just make it?
Password Nudge.
I was talking with a somewhat security paranoid friend about passwords and she said;
"it would be great if I had an app that just reminded me to change my passwords"
"I can do you one step worse" I said.
In steps https://passwordnudge.com
A nice node.js & tailwind site hosted on Netlify with a Netlify <---> MailChimp Zap integrated.
The use Inputs their email, they receive a welcome email and then they receive and email reminding them gently that they really should replace that password they've had for 5 years, and this email runs on a 90 days cycle.
I thought it was fun to implement an idea overnight, and after all, isn't this what indiehackers are all about? ;)
Much love!
Hey! I think this is a really nice and straight to the point idea. I personally had a similar idea to this but never really had the time to execute it.
My idea had more features though that I think are harder to implement (I am a designer so I have no idea). If you are willing to collaborate maybe we can discuss these features in more detail.
Hey Proxo thanks for the kind words!
You can shoot me and email at dshbuilds@gmail.com if you want and we can discuss a possible collaboration, sounds very interesting!
