It's time...Launching Fitsquad beta and would love to get your feedback

Fitsquad is a mobile app that allows people to socialize through challenges.
I would like to get your feedback on our landing page.

Specifically:

  • What do you think about the motto?
  • Is the copy compelling?
  • Do you understand what Fitsquad does?
  • What did you like/didn't like about the design?

Link: https://fitsquad.io/

P.S.

The beta is fully functional. If Fitsquad resonated with you, I would love to get your feedback.

Cheers

Had a look great idea. I like it

"Socialize through challenges" doesn't mean anything to me. May be change it to "Compete with your friends through fitness challenges"?

@neeravbm Thanks for the feedback. I was trying to convey the idea that it will start with fitness challenges but will not be limited to, but I will think more about it.

If you are selling B2C, which is what you are, I don't think you should be selling the roadmap. What matters is what can your app do now? In that case, your headline should focus on what can your app do now instead of what it will be able to do 2 years from now.

          Good perspective, thanks

Hi Mehmet - first and deeper impressions below

    First Impression

    • motto: I think you need to specify fitness challenges (unless its not?)
    • copy: In the How it works section there is inconsistent casing in your titles.
    • understanding: Understanding is made clear with the video.
    • like/dislike: looks like your video in the iPhone is not properly cropped. That being said I really like the video - I think it explains the product very clearly.

    Deeper Dive

    • How it works section: Not sure why you are using bullets for some but not all. Sign up & add your friends last sentence requires revision (typo - unique and have should be add I think?). Expiring challenges due to timezone seems unnecessarily complicated - can't you just say will expire over time? Complete challenges section first bullet last line requires revision.
    • I don't really get the logo
    • Why is there different font sizes in your FAQ?
-Overall impression: very cool idea ! I think mobile is the right platform for a product like this. My concern would be how to get users onto your platform. Is there a way to send challenges to people without have to signup on the app?

      Thanks @robertdippolito for the feedback!
For the motto: I was trying to convey the bigger vision but I see the confusion so I will definitely think about that.
One thing I didn't understand about your feedback was "Is there a way to send challenges to people without having to signup on the app?". Did you mean sending a challenge without signing up or as a signed-in user I should be able to invite a friend who is not a member yet?

        Hi MettQ,

The challenge with social network products is that you need a user ecosystem to really see the value. My point was how are you going to get people to download the app, make an account, and start participating in your social network?

I think your latter point makes a lot of sense (send invites to friends who are not users).

Looking forward to seeing where this goes!

Yes, adding friends automatically via link is in the works!

Hey, The landing page looks good. Clean and minimal. However, What caught me eye was the video that is playing in the "phone" is not fit to screen. It hurts the professional image your website builds otherwise.

@vaibhavThevedi I had a little bit of a problem since the device I recorded is different then the Bezel I used for the frame, but it needs to be fixed, thanks for the feedback.
