Job board software thoughts? Niceboard vs jboard

Hi hackers!
I spent about 1.5 months building out my own REACT/Firebase based job board but it's taking a lot longer than I expected to get it as functional as I would like. I am now thinking of just moving to using something like niceboard.co or jboard.io. I've also built up a presence of a few hundred followers on instagram.

Both Niceboard and jboard cost appx $125/month, any opinions on which is better? Is there another cheaper option out there that some of you suggest?

Which is better?
  1. Niceboard.co ($129/mo + $99 start up fee)
  2. jboard.io ($125/mo, no start up fee)
  3. Another choice, please comment below

That's React for you... a lot of projects started with those kinds of front-end frameworks take a long time to build, which is why I moved on to Rails-inspired frameworks a few years ago.

For your vote, I chose "other". My advice would be to reduce the scope of your features and put it out there as soon as you can. I suspect the hard part in this project won't be the coding. It will be attracting both job-seekers and employee-seekers to the site.

Did you learn Ruby prior to moving to Rails inspired frameworks?
I just started coding JS in the fall of 2021. Haven't yet ventured into other languages.

How many jobs are you thinking of adding?

Probably about 100 to start so likely going to use the lowest tier for Niceboard. I've compared the pricing between the 2 and it seems pretty similar, but more curious about the functionality. The other thing I've noticed about Niceboard so far is that I emailed them a question yesterday to 2 different email addresses and no response yet. So a little concerned about customer service when I'm paying $120ish/month...

Job boardly is a good alternative to Niceboard or Jboard, its $49 per month. I wrote a review on it, see here... https://jobboardcoach.com/product-review/job-boardly-job-board-software-review/
