I think the example video is missing populated elements like the demo page shows. I really like the demo page and your idea is easily conveyed to me on there. Could you possibly use the demo page in your example video?
I tried to keep the example video minimal initially but I think it makes more sense to use something more concrete like the demo page as you mentioned, great idea! Thanks for the feedback.

Great idea, I'll see if I can find some public domain games or at least come up with some real content for the demo.
The main idea is game developers would use the press kit to send to journalists so all the assets, screenshots, and general information needed is already presented, making it easier to get coverage on your game.
