Landing Page for indie writers - critique wanted

Me and my friends started this side project and we can't decide on the landing page (coming soon type of page). This is how it looks now - https://storylect.com.

Here is the alternative - imgur[com]com/ooEwVNl. Need to play with a font a bit, but looking to critique the concept itself.

Which one do you prefer and what needs to be improved if anything? Is it too simple?

    Hi @skillmint,

I think going with a simple announcement page is generally a good thing but I am struggling a bit to understand what your product is actually doing. Is it a service to start a newsletter/blog? Is it a tool to monetize gated content?

Additionally, I think you could put a bit more emphasis on the title by making it bold and maybe increasing the font size.

Lastly, I would avoid the "it" in the subtitle ("Publish it and make money from subscriptions"). Be more specific and focus on what problem it solves for users and not just how it works.

    Hope that helps!

thank you! we're still figuring out the text, I was mostly curious on the layout/colors... would you prefer the first or second (imgur.com/ooEwVNl) though?

I like the second one better!

Hey @skillmint! Do you think any of these themes on this post I made would help? They are super easy to use and you'll be able to code you newsletter signup landing page in minutes.
