Two weeks ago, I organized an info product challenge with a group of friends to see if we could build something worth $10.
Today, I launched my product! It's 100+ exercises to teach you Vim for VScode. You can check it out at vimforvscode.com.
It's been about 1 hour since I tweeted about it and I'm at 23 purchases (minus 1 from me testing 😅). Couldn't have done it without all the inspiration from the Indie Hackers podcast and community!

I'm now at 147 total purchases and have updated the image! 😱 Way more than I expected!
Amazing results within an hour! Keep us posted on the progress!
Just updated - now at 147 purchases!
I guess $10 is a sweet spot for people to just buy without too much thinking/damage?
I guess so? I’ve only had one refund related to the content itself so far!
I've seen your challenge as well. I have fomo!
If you ever want to participate in the challenge for a future round, let me know!
It looks awesome, well done!
By the way, why did you choose ConvertKit instead of Gumroad or Podia, for instance?
Thank you!
Thanks, Catalin!
Gumroad had some past issues with the way they're interacted with some friends in the Black community so I opted to not use them.
Podia doesn't have a free plan. I'm willing to pay for software, but I wanted to make sure that my product would actually sell.
With ConvertKit, I was able to use their landing page builder, ConvertKit Commerce (beta) and have it all integrated with an email platform (which I plan to use). So it's really a 3-for-1 and, I'm still on the free plan (but will probably upgrade soon).
Contgrats on the sales results so far!
Is it intended to to move devs from vscode to use vim?
Based on the way I’m understanding your question, nope! It’s intended for devs to leverage vim inside vscode. So you get the power of both!
Congratulations on the launch – I'm excited to check it out!
Thanks! Would love to hear what you think after if you end up getting it!
Saw this no twitter! Congrats on the sales
Thank you!
23 within 1 hour is great. Congrats.
Thanks, Vignesh!
