Hi there! π
New week, new update.

I found my flow with writing blog articlesβ1 day, 1 article. I created custom GPTs for myself, teaching them my sitemap and instructing them on which keywords were important.
I conducted 3 user interviews and learned so much. They were incredibly insightful and really provided me with the positive energy to keep going. Some kind words were: "I love the assets," "great copy," "design is on point."
What I did right is also what I did wrong... I should be doing way more user interviews. I need to be talking, talking, talking to my users. So this week is about reaching out and making contact.
Developers tend to make sure every feature or edge case is supported. I'm currently redoing the results page, and I found myself thinking things like: "I should support sorting, searching, or..."
No, I shouldn'tβI've got plenty of time to do that later.
As you can see at the top, the counters are still at 0... In all honesty, I felt disappointment when adding those in here. It feels somewhat like a failure, but it isn't! Why? Look at the other numbers:
Google Analytics 4 reports 141 users in the last week. That's down from 242 the week before.
Top sources they came from:
The direct visits, I think, are me posting links from LinkedIn or Reddit.
What does that tell us? People aren't finding me, and the ones that do... are they the right audience?
No panicβthat's why we're working on the marketing!
As a solo founder, you must realize you can't do everything. You can't manage YouTube, Twitter, Qualli's LinkedIn, your personal LinkedIn, Reddit, etc., and still find time to code.
Yeah, since I like to sleep at night, I'm not going to be able to do it all π
So, I decided to focus on one subject and 1-2 platforms. The subject is "Build in Public," what I've been doing here. But now, I'm taking it to LinkedIn.
I'm not going to focus on Qualli's LinkedIn for now, just mine. Every company needs an advocate, and I'm, of course, mine. People are very generous with their time and feedback if you're authentic. People have enough companies trying to sell them something.
This week, I'm going to focus on the website and talk to as many users as I can!
