Every time I post link or article about my product on Reddit, it is often got down vote, negative comments, and removed by the moderators.
However, the link of similar product made by big company will not be removed.
It's double standard.
All creators, did you have the same feeling?
Depends... I posted an idea in "BusinessIdeas" Subreddit and got the first comment which said:
"This will never work. I have no clue how you came up with such a stupid idea." Something along these lines.
In a matter of 1 hour, this comment was downvoted by 30+ people saying its awesome. Really depends how you post, what you post and where you post.
It's not a matter of how big or small your company is. It's a matter of how you are viewed in the reddit community. If you just go on and start self-promoting, you're going to get downvoted and/or removed.
Make sure you add value first. Contribute helpful information to threads. Answer people's questions. Offer help. Be a part of the community.
Then, when you do add something about your product, do it in a non-promotional way. For instance, you could tell a story about what you learned researching an article or building your product or something along those lines. Then offer to post the link if people are interested instead of just posting it. Or, you could ask a question related to the link you're posting, so the link is more supporting reference rather than outright promotion.

It's a web browser.
I just post on webdev, programmer, design, browser, app, phone, tech news or something like those.
Some of those got special days for self-promotion. r/webdev for example has showoff saturdays, so next saturday try posting and explain that you made this and you're looking for feedback. That's what I did and got very good reception.
You can see my post here in case you are interested: https://www.reddit.com/r/webdev/comments/fbbb8j/showoff_saturday_i_made_an_svg_icon_manager_that/
I posted a few times after that when I made significant changes and got good receptions again.

Hackernews is also terrible. No one will click, upvote and comment your link if the post isn't on top.
If Reddit can get 15 - 20 visitors, Hackernews is only get 2 - 5 visitors.
