Rejected or unpaid work

I’ve been thinking of putting up some old work that came out of freelancing but were unpaid or rejected. Maybe others can benefit from it.

How would you recommend I go about doing this? Any tips?

For example, should I spend more time polishing them up? Put them all in one place? Try to sell them to others first?

Have you gone through something similar?

I had a client that left me with a full e-commerce and app, almost completely finished and several thousand in unpaid bills. I never thought to do anything with it or sell it. I never event wanted to see it again at, it was a reminder of what a failure it was.

But would be interested in hearing what other people do in this situation. If you can make something good from it that is amazing and I applaud you. So thanks for asking the question, I hope you get some good answers.

Hey thanks for that Joe. Your story reminded me of an ecommerce project I did and made me realize how different some of my customers are. If anything, maybe the target for my half finished work is other freelancers. Idk but it’s got me thinking...

By the way, the work so far is illustrations, music, animations, photos, websites and half baked pieces of code.
