Saw a Tik Tok that said "Try to solve the problem of 100 rich people instead of 1,000,000 broke people. What are some problems of the rich that need solving?
I think of it as "Try to solve the problem of 100 rich people so you can solve the problems of 1,000,000 broke people", but other than that nuance I agree as I always tell our interns "The best way to make money is to align with people who have it."
An example of a higher wealth problem that blends into lower wealth problems is education. After my game studio ran into funding issues we needed to shift our sources of revenue.
We found education to be a common ground for different wealth classes (everyone at some point in their lives are taught or need to learn, and as a global society we can't progress without education so this makes education a "core" industry that impacts multiple wealth levels, but I also almost always recommend starting top down as it'll be easier to get the customers needed to grow).
To dive in further last year our pricing was $50/hour then we switched it to a minimum order of $250 now after 6 months of that we're switching to a minimum order of $2,500 because finding the $2,500 customers has been as easy as the $250 plus the clients are usually more professional.
that's a great advice
You can think of it, try to solve a problem in B2B sector instead of B2C. Businesses have money.
They always have 2 problems:
That's all
That's a great one, I actually had this thought before...
I would never want to serve 100 rich people, they would be infuriating customers. But I would want to serve the businesses they run.
