Roast my landing page

Hi everybody!

I know you all have lots of experience with websites, so I thought to utilize your
expertise here to refine my landing page

https://widgetbrew.com/?indiehackers

While I would love to hear your perspective on all aspects including design, I have concerns about the clarity of my message. So, I'm just asking for your feedback, primarily on the content.

I really dig the way you've organized everything, but I'm finding the font a bit tricky to read. Also, I'm not quite sure where the page explains why we should be excited about code-free widgets! 😄

Thank you for the feedback! I will try to change the copy to be a little bit more clear.

        Good luck with your app

Thank you what did you liked? Was there things you didn't like?

I don't like the color scheme. For me the colors demonstrate sadness.

Colors are really interesting to me, I'll definitely watch out for that, for me it represents calm and cozyness :)

    Here's a loom video.

Ironically enough, I built a custom nav like this for my agency website (383 Studio).

I think there's some serious visual design improvements that can be made on both the website and product itself. But it's an awesome idea! I shared some of that feedback in the loom video, and feel free to shoot me an email ([email protected]) to talk about some visual update spec work I can whip up for you and your team!

Thank you Brandon! That's great feedback, I looked at your website and you have a really great navigation bar going on ;) I've sent you an email.

My immediate reaction is I'm not sure why I would want a 'widget' as a customer. It seems like a catch-all phrase for a bunch of things, but hard to communicate the value quickly of what your product is and why I would want it when it's so broad.

I think it's pleasant on the eyes, but I also had to take a minute to really read through it to understand what it is.

Widgets can mean different things in different context. I would immediately define what a widget is in your context, and what it does, in 2 sentences or less.

    1. 1

Interesting feedback! I will definitely try to define what is a widget for sure.

It may be partly because I am not your customer, but it seems hard to grasp right away what your company exactly does, or who it is for. Would love to see more visuals as well!

Thank you for the feedback! I agree that more visual would be great.

WidgetBrew let you customize widget that can then be added to your website.
