SaveTech: Backender with his first frontend needs feedback πŸ˜‡

Site: SaveTech
Hi everybody,

Together with a colleague, we are building SaveTech. We needed a new solution for bookmarking all the posts, repos, etc that we find while researching, to work as a toolbox πŸ›  instead of the typical read-later app.

I'm a backend developer who wants to improve my frontend skills, so I coded the landing page within the Rails platform instead of letting Webflow save the day again.

There are some pain points that I'm aware of and places that I have mixed feelings. It would awesome if you could drop a line with your opinion of the matter and/or new findings.

Pain point 1:

  • On the one hand, I like the look of a big visual banner and an outlined CTA. On the other, I know most of the landings have a big motto + CTA that should call for your attention. Thoughts here?
    Pain point 2:
  • How to ensure that people will read the part with h1: We are developers as it's the core reason for using the app.

Doubts:

  • How to attract the first Alpha users?
  • Should I add more CTAs?

Thanks a lot πŸ˜‡
