Stand-Up #94 - May 11th, 2020

Stand-Up #94 - May 11th, 2020

I noticed that my original plan of attack for injecting the script tag into the user's site would result in potentially massive amounts of unnecessary requests to my server. New plan moving forward is to only inject the script into the user's site if they have created a countdown already. I'll also need to check and see if the script tag has already been injected previously, so I wrote the small function for that today. I'll handle the rest of the functionality tomorrow with my new plan of action.

Yesterday's progress:

  • Tweaks to billing process. I realized that I forgot one of the billing requirements to be listed in the shopify app store.

Today's progress:

  • Script tag injection process re-planning/changes and start coding functionality

Tomorrow's progress:

  • Finish functionality of script tag injection

Screenshot attached for proof of progress, as per usual.
