This isn't working for me. No more standups. I'm still finishing the app and launching it. But instead of building more apps and a big software business after this, I'm heading in a different direction.
I'm going to study spoken and written languages.
A few years ago in university, I scared myself into going into STEM subjects. I excelled at language learning (Latin, Russian, and Spanish), but didn't go into that field because translators barely make enough money to scrape by.
I always planned on making money from entrepreneurship so that I could study languages later when I had retirement money. But honestly, why wait?
I know that I can run a successful business after building my old web development and UX/UI design agency to decent profitability. My entrepreneurship experience also taught me that there's no hard limit on how much cash you can make in any industry (although some industries like software/tech grow faster than other industries).
I'm giving myself permission to do something "unprofitable" and trusting my gut instinct that I'll be able to make it work.
I'm not waiting until I'm half dead to do what I love.
До свидания, друзья!
Nice one.
Удачи!
Well written, Jack
Уверен, у тебя все получится. Иногда в жизни надо что-то делать для себя.
