Steph Smith's Big List of Tools for Starting and Scaling Your Blog or Newsletter to Millions of Readers

Fellow Indie Hacker Steph Smith published earlier this year her book Standing Out in 2020: Doing Content Right, and let me tell you, it's just an incredible book.

Now, I am very reticent when it comes to buying ebooks. In fact, I'm pretty sure Steph's book is the first time I have ever spent money buying a digital product from a random person online (that wasn't backed by a huge company or sold on Amazon that is).

But I took the plunge, and believe me, it was more than worth it.

There is no better resource out there if you want to learn about how to start your own blog or newsletter and scale it to millions of readers.

It doesn't matter where you are on your journey.

If you've never set up a blog or newsletter before, she will teach you how. Or perhaps you really want to learn how to do SEO right, without any of that shady blackhat stuff you find everywhere else (this was my favorite chapter by far, I never knew about any of this!)

As a bonus, Standing Out in 2020: Doing Content Right includes a huge list of tools people can use on their journeys, and I took the time to compile it all into a clean and easy to navigate Notion table to help people find what they're looking for.

You can find it here: Steph Smith's Big List of Tools (Notion)

P.S. I asked Steph if I could share this with you, and she said of course :) You can find her book here btw.

P.P.S. She has also arranged a special 25% discount for the Indie Hackers community, just enter the code INDIE at checkout to get 25% ($10) off.

Here are some of the interviews she recently made you can listen to if you want to learn more about how she thinks about doing content right:
