MuchSkills.com was launched just three weeks ago, but we are already listing for certain keywords and generating organic traffic.
The trick? Not spamming keyword blog articles, but taking the time out to write in-depth journalistic articles filled with research and references.
It seems that the time invested in writing really good articles is the best way to achieve sustainable SEO strategy.
Lovely website design!
I can see several blogs on your site, which one would you recommend? @dootah
Hey @felix12777 Thanks for checking it out. One of the most well read ones has been https://www.muchskills.com/blog/workplace-trends-coronavirus-likely-accelerate one, but I quite like the latest one we published on Data Visualizations - https://www.muchskills.com/blog/the-beauty-of-data-visualisation
Hope you enjoy reading them.
Hey, Dootah!
Congratulations! We are looking do some nice articles too! It takes a lot of effort, but I'm glad you made it work.
I just checked your lading page and I belive is a great case to use https://abtesting.ai to improve conversion rate, and convert a higher % of your traffic. I would love if you give it a look :) You can implement it for free, of course.
Cheers!
Have you been able to measure the impact of your SEO growth to new signups?
Hey @robmerki At the moment, we are pushing on multiple channels for sign ups, and our blogs are just one of the in roads, so it's hard for us to create that distinction very clearly. We will wait for more data to be collected to measure that. But for now we can see more traffic as well as impressions and engagement increase on the website.
We can also see that the cluster of keywords that we want to rank on is growing steadily. We haven't spent any money on marketing or ads so it's all just organically getting caught, which is great.
Organic traffic is awesome. Looking forward to your success :)
Hi @dootah, I've finally been convinced that blogging/content creation is worth the effort.
Did you do any keyword research before you decided what articles to write? Or was it based more on a topic that just came to mind?
Cheers!
Hey @rugy, with regards to the topic, you always want to make sure that it's topical to the audience you want to reach. So it is about creating a strategy and build a cluster of focus topics.
I actually do do a keyword analysis before I do any writing using Google Ad words to check competitiveness and winnability. Sometimes it's not worth hunting very competitive keywords, but if you're creative, you can find some keywords that may not be very popular, but very relevant to what you want to provide.
After you have a broad cluster of keywords, I would then try and find ways to write relevant articles with a lot of original content, but also a lot of referencing. And don't just keyword spam, it should have a good balance of keywords, but still provide value to the readers.
But the effort you put in here, will have a much more long lasting effect.
Hope this response wasn't too long. It's a complicated topic, but a simple answer for your question is also to create quality content that well researched and well referenced. :)
