What are you working on, your strategy, and your goal?

Hello indie hackers! Let's get together and share what everybody is working on, what are your growth strategies, and what is your short-term and/or long-term goal. This post is inspired by @Christpetron's post where people share their projects and goals. I would like to hear more about what you are working on and what growth strategies you are implementing to get to your goal! Let's help each other by leaving feedback on people's projects. That way we can all grow and create better things!

Let me start:

  1. I am currently working on iconsizer. It is an app that helps developers spend more time on their projects and less time getting the right sizes for their icons by generating in an organized way all (or selected) resolutions for android, ios, web, desktop, and even vectorized version of their logo.
  2. My current growth strategy is contacting people directly, posting on Twitter, IndieHackers, HackerNews, and Reddit.
  3. My short-term goal is to get some users before launch. My long-term goal for iconsizer is to be self-sustained and really save people's time.

Now it's your turn!

    1. Currently working on https://daily-dev-tips.com/ a daily dev tip blog. I mainly started this just before the lockdown to keep me busy. but really enjoying it and very surprised by the response and visits. So keeping it up.
    2. Trying to grow with small Facebook ads, helping people on discord channels and posting on Twitter/Instagram
    3. Short term, I want to reach a very stable 1k per month visitors and 50 newsletter subscribers.

I can see the value in that. What service are you using for your newsletter? How is your growth strategy going so far?

Hey, using Mailchimp, you can see the growth in my weekly updates.
Going quite steady, but slow (like 2 a week) https://www.indiehackers.com/product/daily-dev-tips

Thanks for the information :) It can be quite demotivating getting a lot of visits and only 2 subscribers a week. I am using Mailchimp too and I also got exactly 2 subscribers in a week :D Keep up the good work and never give up 😉👍

As we speak of the devil, Last week I hit 4 instead of 2, you can read my weekly write down on my profile page on the change! Might work for you as well!

Where exactly can I read it? I can't find it on your IH or twitter page?

Thanks! I see that Facebook ads really boosted things last week. How much did you spend on them and how much did they convert (if that is ok to share)?

                  1. 1

Sure no problem, I do a 1 day 1 euro campaign and per week i see which one did best and boost that a bit more.
But currently locked out of Facebook invites :(

Wow! This looks great 😀. How long have you been working on Dorik and are you a solo developer or in a team?

        Thanks for your feedback. 😄

We have started working on it as a side project about a year ago. Working dedicatedly from the last 3-4 months.
