Book Sharing Platform

Hi All,

I'm here to ask you about a platform that you can sell, exchange, or gift your used books. Also, you can find what you need if somebody already have it near you.
Is it an interesting platform for you to use?

It's something different than https://www.bookcrossing.com/

Hi Nazir, I've been brainstorming around creating a product for booklovers as well. Possible to have a discussion with you regarding the same>

I like the idea of giving books away. It reminds me of how people set up little libraries for people to take away books for free in their front gardens or in local spaces. Like these telephone boxes.

Not sure I'd ever have the time or enthusiasm to go into any further action than that.

You know, in these telephone boxes, there are some books that you may be interested to read one. But in the desired platform, you'll buy or get (for free) the books you're seeking.

Sounds interesting, but why cant you go to a library and get books there?

it's not about borrowing books. used-book sellers can use this platform.

That would be nice. But there are already some options to sell used books. So you are not the first.

Having competition isn't necessarily a bad thing, often it is a good sign. It's often harder to be the 'first' in any kind of sector as it requires much more effort to educate the market.

You'd probably need to niche down and clarify what problem you are trying to solve that people aren't managing to solve easily with other platforms.

Absolutely correct. But he is asking if the idea is good and I mentioned that there are already some competitors.

Do you have some tips to outplay your competitors? Because I want to build something, but its already sopved extremely well and I have no idea how to improve it. Should I even enter this market?
            Thanks in advanced.
