Eye for an eye

Hey folks, just published a new pre-launch homepage:

https://vzg.me/

I'd greatly appreciate your feedback on:

  1. aesthetic appeal
    and
  2. clarity of message/value prop

Thanks for taking a look, and I'm happy to return the favor if you drop your URL.

Purely from an aesthetics perspective, I'd suggest updating the font(s) you're using. Your text is hard to read.

Agreed. I've switched it to what is (hopefully) a more readable font. Thanks for the feedback.

I really like the hero animations, they look great!
Also the use of emojis further down the page are a nice touch.

Overall aesthetic looks really nice! The color is not run-of-the-mill and stands out a bit more than most.

Overall clarity of your message also is apparent, I don't feel like you're trying to sell me on too many things.

    Couple nit-picking things:

    • In the first descriptive section, it was a bit difficult to read 'vzg' as a word in the copy.
    • In the 'Benefits' area, some of the text kerning is a bit difficult to read visually.

If you have the time, I just published a pre-launch page as well! https://commstack.app

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, good luck with vzg!

      Thanks @austinkrueger!

Your site looks very clean and clear. I like the illustration a lot and I can very much see the value of this product...my previous employer used Lever to manage candidates so it makes perfect sense to have a similar platform from the opposite perspective. One small improvement I'd suggest is tightening up "manage communication lines" in the hero. That's pretty broad and only becomes clear when you've read the rest of the site. Maybe "manage communication with prospective employers" or something along those lines would convey the purpose more directly.

Thanks for checking it out! I can see how that would be potentially too broad for hero copy. Appreciate the feedback.
