How I got 190 Clicks Organically in the first month after launching my SaaS

Almost a month ago I launched my new SaaS MyDevPa.ge and I was able to get 190 clicks and 3.21K impressions in the first month. I don't know about you but for me, it's a huge deal.

But How did it happen?

The purpose of my SaaS is to allow developers to build a portfolio website instantly. So my target audience is developers/programmers. So I started writing technical articles.

I wrote 4 articles out of which 3 were technical. And they brought all of this traffic.

I haven't tried any other kind of marketing. I'm just writing articles and posting on Twitter (but not getting enough attention).

I'm now looking to try Reddit and also going to launch on ProductHunt. Let's see what happens.

Thanks for taking the time to read. What do you think about the results? Let me know in the comments.

This is extremely good results for what I've seen in my own projects, congratz!

Congratulations on the successful launch. Leveraging technical articles to attract your target audience is a smart move, and exploring platforms like Reddit and ProductHunt should further boost your SaaS visibility.

Congratulations on the launch and this IS big :). If you are comfortable sharing may I know how many signups from this / paid users from 1 month?

      Thanks!

Honestly, I did not get any paying customers. The articles were intended to solve a particular problem developers were struggling with in nextjs 14. So I guess most of them just came, read and they are gone. I guess there were not looking to build a portfolio website which my SaaS offers.

      1. 2

        Yes, perhaps thats the reason

Nice product! Gotta remember to write technical article after releasing my SaaS also!

Thanks. And Good luck with your SaaS!

There's a lack of good content out there, content that is deep enough and offers value to audiences. Not surprised Google wants to surface good technical content. Congrats on the metrics.

Thanks bro. Yes there's definitely a lack of good content. If you write articles that actually helps people in solving there problems then google definitely ranks your articles and recommends it to others

SEO keeps being the best long-term strategy to find leads in my books. I am now using an AI post generator tool to write articles for my pages to do it faster and write more entries, and I am getting very good results.

Good to hear that you are getting great results. Keep going!

  7. 2

That's a good result. Where did you actually wrote articles?

Awesome results, Shahmir! I've also started writing blogs for my SaaS and think it's a great long-term conversion tool for any business. In fact, I think a lot of new small SaaS companies fail is because they don't put in the long-term marketing efforts like building out a blog that acts as a source of authority in whatever topic it is.

    1. 1

Yes exactly. SEO is a long-term strategy. But of course it should not be the only strategy. In the beginning we can also go for short-term strategies like cold-outreach.

Good job! Did you do any keyword research/other SEO stuff or just wrote about topics that were on your mind?
Just a hint, think you have a small typo in your pricing section. Upto should probably be up to. :)

    1. 1

I didn't do any keyword research. I was struggling with some topics recently in nextjs 14. So when I learned those topics, I wrote articles on them as well with zero keyword research.

      Thanks for correcting the mistake

Did you submit your article somewhere or where they picked up organically through RSS?

    1. 1

I just submit it to the search console. That's it. Didn't submit anywhere else.

    Hey @ShahmirFaisal

Your results are a good start. From my perspective you should now make an analysis what happens during the clicks/impressions.

just let me know, if you need someone who hunts you on PH, I'm happy to help.

Thanks man! Yeah that should be my next goal.

Regarding the PH launch, I would love to get in touch with you. How can I contact you?
