Hi guys,
I am taking the plunge and launching something way before I am comfortable with it: https://themakerswalk.herokuapp.com/
Feel free to check it out; here is a bit more info:
Building anything - an app, an audience, a tool, a business - is quite complex (duh). There is a million things you could be doing, and even worse, at least hundreds of things that are actually worth doing as well. Adding to that, there are tons of resources, books and quotes out there, a lot of them packed with valuable content.
So, what is your prio? Do you go for a short walk or write a tweet? Check out indiehackers or your inbox? Brainstorm your target demographic or optimize SEO?
Themakerswalk attacks this problem by consolidating all these things: habits, resources, inspiration, questions to ask yourself...but only shows you one of these things at a time!
You can see how it works in the picture - one thing at a time, one thing after another. If you don't think something is relevant right now, skip it - no problem. Consistent progress instead of drowning in choice fatigue.
Oh my god, there are so many things I want to add, features I want to refine, corners I want to smooth out (holy shit it doesn't even have its own domain yet). But hey - I am confident that this is an MVP; I am indeed using this to support my own indiehacking journey.
Since this community has always been incredibly helpful and supportive, I am launching here first. A big Thank You to everyone offering kind words and good pointers in the past. I am looking forward to your feedback!
If you are skeptical of the whole thing - I would be -, let me wedge in one more thing: The app is completely free and can be fully used w/o any kind of signup.
There is a premium tier ($4/month) which allows you to save your progress permanently, should you get hooked ;)
So yeah, feel free to check it out at: https://themakerswalk.herokuapp.com/ (no bullshit, I promise)
Thanks and have fun!
