Today is the kind of day where you want to make sure you've ironed your shirt for the daily run of Zoom meetings.
I missed posting but for a good reason...
We were preparing for a pitch we have to give today for the FAU Tech Runway Launch Competition. It's not the final pitch, but an opportunity to do a pitch "scrub" where we'll give our presentation and they'll provide us with tips on how to improve.
While I know this isn't a make-or-brake situation, there is (self-imposed) pressure to make sure we start off as well as we can. We've put so much effort into actually building the business and we want to make sure that shows in our pitch.
Where do we go from here?
Next we'll adjust and make a pitch recording which will be shown to the judges for final consideration in conjunction with an elevator pitch and the other application documents we've already provided.
Anyway...you can only prepare so much, but it certainly helps to iron the shirt!
