Is there a portal for product ideas/problems to solve?

A lot of people probably have product ideas that they don't want to pursue themselves. Is there a place for them to share their ideas where others (with skills and time to pursue them) can find them efficiently?

For example, my skills are mostly in math, science, deep learning (with Python) and high-performance computing (with C++) -- probably not ideal for independent revenue-generating projects aside from consulting. But I'm interested in ideas other people think I might be well-suited for.

On the other hand, I might have product ideas that I don't want to pursue, but I'm happy to share.

Incidentally, a portal such as this is one of them. Such a portal would have to enable tagging by (a) skill area (b) problem area and sorting by (a) new (b) hot (c) most upvoted. Entries would be required not to be cryptic, but explain why the posters think their idea is good.

Does a portal such as this exist? If not, what's the closest thing to it?

Maybe IH can add a section for ideas/skillsets, etc but in a better organized way that can be easily filtered/searched. Maybe you can create a site for this:-)

I like the idea of this, but the key is to ensure that each product idea is sufficiently high quality to retain folks interested in joining as a technical lead.

Been thinking about this myself. I'm thinking an online or even paid version of EF (joinef.com) would be epic. An invite only community, some sort of coordination on the team (i.e 1 person from sales, tech, design) and work on ideas once they have a team combined.

The challenge initially would be getting enough people aware and to join. Could be free initially for a hand selected group of active Twitterati, perhaps targeting the no-code community?

Good idea - I know such things exist; I've seen idea collections posted on Hacker News before (but can't remember any URLs at the moment).

I'm sure there have been many discussions about that here in the past. And I think I recall someone starting something. A search in IH might bring it up.

Couldn't find it, to be honest. I searched for "idea portal". I guess it's safe to say it doesn't exist (in any popular form that would make it viable), even if it was suggested before?

I used https://www.mindsumo.com/ and the other is https://www.innocentive.com/ otherwise, you can start blogging with your ideas on https://fastpages.fast.ai/ or share them on reddit!
